Vanagon Services General Maintenance Seals
For many of us we only use your Vanagons a couple times a year; sadly. Vehicles are designed to be driven. Having a vehicle sit around for years at a time or many months will cause seals to dry up from not being lubricated during normal use. We get nervous when we see an older vehicle with very low miles; usually means problems down the road.

When this happens seals tend to leak, and can also cause wear on the component they are rubbing against. We are able to inspect all visual seals for dryness or potential leaks and replace as needed. This is one area that is difficult for the "home" mechanic to analyze and determine; leave this up to the pro's.
